The body found outside Billings city limits has been confirmed as that of Dejuan Laster.

Two suspects are currently in custody. James Walker, 32, has been charged with aggravated kidnapping and robbery, and Simon Jacobson, 27, was picked up on a probation violation by US Marshals in Denver. Jacobson is considered a person of interest in the case.

Officials believe it was a robbery situation. Laster's cause of death has not yet been confirmed.

A body found in Montana is believed to belong to a man with Rockford ties who was kidnapped in Billings last Thursday.

Police say they believe a man found dead with a gunshot wound near Billings on Sunday is 29-year-old Dejuan Laster. Laster has multiple ties to Rockford, but he is believed to be from Schaumburg. An autopsy is being held Tuesday afternoon.

According to a woman he was sharing a room with, Laster was kidnapped last Thursday from a Billings hotel by two men posing as FBI agents.
