Rockford Register Star to sponsor job fair

ROCKFORD (WREX) -

Twenty-six different employers will be featured at the Rockford Register Star's first job fair of the year.

Last year, the newspaper sponsored three job fairs in January, May, and September. Each had over 1,000 attendees. This fair will take place at the Tebala Shrine Temple, 7910 Newburg Road, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 23.

The following companies will be represented:

  • Apex Exteriors
  • Avancer
  • Avon
  • Blain's Farm & Fleet
  • The Connection
  • Financial Management Systems
  • Frances House, Inc.
  • Insphere Insurance Solutions
  • J.L. Clark
  • Lowe's Distribution Center
  • Movie Facts, Inc.
  • Owens Corning
  • Pool Corp.
  • Rockford Fire Department
  • Rockford Register Star
  • ServiceMaster Contract Services
  • State Collection Service
  • Sunset Memorial Gardens
  • Super Pantry

There will also be representative from Judson University, Premier CDL Training Services, Rasmussen College, and Rockford Career College.
