Association discusses state of infrastructure in Rockford

ROCKFORD (WREX) -

State and local government officials gathered with local business leaders in Rockford Friday to discuss future infrastructure repair funding.

The Rockford-Winnebago County Better Road Association held the meeting at the Chicago Rockford International Airport's International Terminal. Items discussed included infrastructure priorities, successes, and a new capital bill in Illinois.

The Rockford-Winnebago County Better Road Association is a private sector group that aims to secure state support for local highway improvement and development.
