2 arrested for meth in Beloit - WREX.com – Rockford’s News Leader

A Rock County Special Investigations Unit investigation that began in July of last year ended on Tuesday with the arrest of two individuals in Beloit.

The Rock County SWAT Team and the Beloit Tactical Unit conducted a search of 1119 1/2 Ninth Street in Beloit. During the search, a half kilogram of suspected methamphetamines with a street value of about $20,000, a .45 caliber handgun, cash, and drug paraphernalia were seized.

Both occupants of the residence were also taken into custody. They face the following charges:

• Kirk R.C. Mickelson, 23
  
  • Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamines within 1,000 feet of a school
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Prohibited Acts B
  • Felon in Possession of a Firearm
• Briana R. Ketelson, 21
  
  • Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamines within 1,000 feet of a school
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Prohibited Acts B

Mickelson and Ketelson both face charges in Hawaii for Possession of Methylone. They're scheduled to appear in court on January 17.

SIU deputies, including a Milton Police Department officer, GROC, and the Milwaukee HIDTA Interdiction Team all assisted with the investigation and search warrant.
