No students injured in DeKalb County school bus crash

DEKALB COUNTY (WREX) -

Two people were sent to the hospital after a school bus collided with a Ford truck at Keslinger and Somonauk Roads Monday morning.

Just after 7:00 a.m., a bus driven by Ronald E. Bernard slid through the stop sign at the intersection of the two roads, hitting a Ford box truck driven by Edward R. Hilgart. The two men were both transported to Kishwaukee Community Hospital.

The bus, driven by Bernard, was carrying eight juvenile passengers. None of those passengers were injured.
