Illinois Tollway approves $125 million in work on I-90

The I-90 Tollway, otherwise known as the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway, will be a busy place this year.

Illinois Tollway officials say the roadway will be expanded to six lanes from Randall Road to Interstate 39. Part of the three-year construction program will accommodate new transit options and park-and-ride facilities.

Tollway Director Kristi LaFleur says the congestion relief will save motorists millions of dollars a year.
