2 kicked off ballot in Loves Park

Two men have been kicked off the ballot in Loves Park after objections rose to their petitions.

Loves Park's Electoral Board met for several hours on Friday to decide the fate of David Soll and Marvin Koch, Jr. Both were removed from the ballot.

Soll was facing Charles Frykman in the race for the Second Ward. Frykman objected to Soll's petitions because they were turned in without a paper clip to bind them.

Koch, Jr. was running for mayor. The board ruled that he did not have the required 97 signatures to be on the ballot.
