RAEDC recognized for aerospace development - WREX.com – Rockford’s News Leader

The Rockford Area Economic Development Council has been recognized for its work in recruiting, retaining, and helping growing aerospace businesses.
Expansion Solutions Magazine awarded RAEDC with a Top Five Award of Excellence in the category of Aerospace/Defense in its January/February issue.
The Rockford Area Aerospace Network was formed by RAEDC in 2010 to increase business opportunities and high-paying jobs for aerospace suppliers in the region. It now has over 200 aerospace suppliers, including five major tier-one suppliers.
Twenty economic development organizations were recognized by the magazine in four categories, including Food Processing, Aerospace/Defense, Agribusiness, and Data Centers.
