City of Rockford launches interactive map on website

The City of Rockford's website has a few new features to help residents learn more about their property, neighborhoods, and the city itself.

Six different interactive maps have been added to http://rockfordil.gov/. They include:

  • Aldermanic Wards
  • Garbage Route Pickup Zones
  • Capital Improvement Projects
  • Zoning Districts
  • Watershed Map
  • Neighborhood Groups and Associations

The maps were made through a partnership between the City and the Winnebago County GIS Consortium (WinGIS), which provided web application development services.

More maps will be added when they are developed.
