Illinois Tollway adds traffic cameras to website

Feeds from 15 different cameras overlooking parts of the Illinois Tollway have been added to the Tollway's website.

Tollway users can now check travel conditions at the following locations before they set out on the road:

  • 3 cameras along the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90)
  • 8 cameras along the Tri-State Tollway (I-94/I-294)
  • 2 cameras along the Veterans Memorial Tollway (I-355)
  • 2 cameras along the Reagan Memorial Tollway (I-88)

The cameras are accessible by clicking the "View Traffic Cameras" link on the homepage of www.IllinoisTollway.com. Images are uploaded approximately every five minutes and users can refresh the page to see the updates.

Drivers can also call 1-800-TOLL-FYI for information on lane closures.
