Teen faces charges after crash in Loves Park

LOVES PARK (WREX) -

A teenager faces drunk driving charges after an early morning car crash in Loves Park.

Police were called to the area of Grand Boulevard and East Drive north or Riverside around 5:00am.  Deputy Chief Rodney Scott says a 19 year old went off the street and hit a tree.  While it happened close to a house, no one else was involved.  Police say the teen was drunk at the time.  His name was not released.
