
Rockford residents have multiple options when it comes to disposing of their live Christmas trees.
Those who wish to have their trees picked up, can leave them alongside their regular trash between January 7 and January 17. During that time, Rock River Disposal will pick them up on scheduled residential garbage days.
Trees can also be dropped off at various Winnebago County locations from January 1 to January 15. Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful coordinates the following tree recycling sites in Rockford:
