Everyday heroes not only save lives but save the holidays for a few Rockford families in need.
Rockford firefighters are making Christmas a reality for 13 area families. They're partnering with Access Services of Northern Illinois to purchase gifts.
Firefighters Local 413 union is funding the program along with individual members, Rockford Fire administration and others.
