A group meets to serve the community one last time before the church they operate from is sold.
Every Saturday, Highway and Hedges serves food to the hungry out of First Presbyterian. The church is consolidating with another in the area and their building will be sold.
Now the soup kitchen will operate out of Second Congregational where the two churches will be moving to.
In this holiday season the ministry is reaching far further than our area. The organization has been collecting donations specifically for the Newtown shooting.
