Local scout hopes to earn rank of Eagle with service project

Posted:

A soon-to-be Eagle Scout's effort to support those serving our country overseas wraps up.

Paul Tooth is a life scout from Byron troop 140.   He's been hosting toiletry and food drives for troops serving in Afghanistan.   This one was at Snyder's in Byron.

The project will fulfill Paul's Eagle Scout project requirement, making him an official Eagle Scout.   He's working with the American Red Cross to distribute the donations.
