A 47-year-old man has been found guilty of burglary and possession of another's credit or debit card.
Ricky Griggs was found guilty on December 19 after a jury trial. He was arrested after a car was broken into in the parking lot of Anytime Fitness in December of 2011. A window was broken and several items were missing, including the owner's wallet and credit card.
When the victim called to cancel his credit card, he learned it had been used at a local gas station. Surveillance video showed Griggs buying something with the credit card in question.
Due to prior offenses, Griggs could face six to thirty years in prison for burglary and one to six years for possession of another's credit or debit card.
Griggs is scheduled to be sentenced on January 28, 2013.
