Girl Scouts kick off cookie season at the BMO

It's the time of year to prepare your wallet and your stomach.  Girl Scouts will soon be knocking on your door, selling those irresistible cookies.

The Girls Scouts of Northern Illinois take to the ice with the Rockford Ice Hogs.  Scouts get hands-on experience to help them discover the five important skills of the Girl Scouts: goal setting, decision making, money management, business ethics and people skills.

As part of the day, girl scouts are making scarves for Rockford's homeless community.
