A man suffers non-life threatening injuries after being shot in the foot.

Shortly after 8 p.m., Rockford police responded to a call of a shooting victim at 4100 Auburn St.  The victim told police he was approached inside the building by a man with a gun.  The suspect took money from the victim and then shot him in the foot.  He was taken to a local hospital for treatment. 

The robbery and shooting is still under investigation.  If you have any information on this crime, call Rockford police.
