Slumberland donating 2,000 beds to families in need - WREX.com – Rockford’s News Leader

The local branch of a national furniture store will help hundreds of families this year with its annual Making Homes for the Holidays program.
Slumberland Furniture will donate approximately 2,000 mattresses and box spring sets to families in need throughout the community. The sets were loaded into trucks at the store's Argus Drive location on Monday.
The program began in 1993 and since then, the company has donated over 20,000 mattresses and box springs.
