
Members of the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity's Office of Trade and Investment will visit Rockford to host a free seminar on exporting for small business owners.
The seminar will be held on Friday, December 14, and will feature information on the office's State Trade and Export Promotion grant program. The three-year pilot program helps small and medium-sized businesses with financial and technical export assistance.
Other export programs will also be highlighted. The seminar will be held at NIU - Rockford (8500 East State Street) 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
