Early enrollment for kindergarten and Montessori Pre-K announced

ROCKFORD (WREX) -

Parents and guardians wishing to enroll their incoming kindergarten and Pre-K Montessori students can take advantage of early enrollment next week.

Students going into kindergarten must turn five on or before September 1, 2013, and Montessori Pre-K students must turn four on or before the same date. To enroll, parents or guardians will need a certified birth certificate for the child, photo identification for the parent or guardian, and two proofs of address. District 205's website has a list of acceptable documents.

The early enrollment events will take place at Cherryvale Mall near the Barnes and Noble Bookstore on the following dates:

  • Thursday, December 13 - 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Friday, December 14 - 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, December 15 - 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, December 16 - 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Monday, December 17 - 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
