Man and woman robbed during drug deal

A man and woman are robbed on Rockford's south side during a drug deal.

Rockford Police were called to investigate a robbery at 3100 Jacqueline Drive an investigation revealed the man and woman we're meeting someone for a drug deal. Several men with pistols approached the victims car and robbed them.

The woman, Sara Shaner of Belvidere, was hit in the face with a pistol. She was treated and released at the scene. Shaner brought a child to the drug deal and is charged with child endangerment. All suspects fled on foot.
