Davis Junction man accused of beating up child

A Davis Junction man faces charges for beating up a toddler.

Ogle County Sheriff's Police say Jonathon Early, 19 punched and kicked a two year old inside a home off Prairie Moon Drive.  He faces aggravated battery to a child and domestic battery charges.  Police say Early also assaulted the child's mother.  The toddler was taken to Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb, treated and released.  Early is being held in the Ogle County Jail.  Police say he's also in violation of his parole.
