
A 15-year-old male has been arrested for breaking into several vehicles on Rockford's East side.
Police responded to the 2200 block of 26th Street just after 1:00 a.m. on December 2 in reference to a burglary in progress. A witness told officers they saw two people breaking into a neighbor's car and gave a basic description of the suspects.
A male juvenile was found hiding in bushes a couple blocks away. After a short investigation, he was charged with the following:
A follow-up investigation cleared burglary to vehicle incidents on Paris, North London, and Robert Avenues with the juvenile's arrest.
