Illinois home prices fell in October

UNDATED (WREX) -

Illinois was one of only five states where home values declined in October.

Home prices also fell in Delaware, Rhode Island, New Jersey, and Alabama.

The news is better for the rest of the country, where the overall home prices rose 6.3 percent from October 2011 to October 2012. Arizona saw the biggest jump, up 21.3 percent.

The 6.3 percent increase is the country's largest yearly gain since July 2006.
