Motorcycle crash kills one in Stillman Valley

STILLMAN VALLEY (WREX) -

A 33-year-old Rockford man is dead after his motorcycle crashed into a guardrail in the 7600 block of North Kishwaukee Road in Stillman Valley.

The accident occurred on Sunday, December 2. Dense fog caused William A. Gray to miss a curve in the roadway. The motorcycle Gray was driving left the road and his a guardrail. Both Gray and his passenger, 26-year-old Martie Sansone of Rockford, were thrown from the bike.

Gray was pronounced dead at SwedishAmerican Hospital at 10:30 p.m. Sunday night. Sansone was taken to Rockford Memorial Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Neither were wearing a helmet.
