It's that time of year when the snow starts falling, as well as the temperatures. That's why Visit Beloit is working to bundle up Wisconsin.
People are encouraged to drop off new or gently used winter wear, including, sweaters, coats, gloves. It's part of the Wisconsin Department of Tourism's "The Big Bundle Up" campaign. The program runs from December 3- January 4.
The program had great success last year, as they collected over 3,000 mittens and winter items for the needy.
Drop locations include Visit Beloit, 500 Public Avenue, The Beloit Travel Wisconsin Welcome Center on I-90W/39N and the School District of Beloit at the Kolak Education Center, 1633 Keller Avenue.
