Tis the season for holiday shopping! Searching for the perfect gift? Well I've got some tips for you, from sweet treats, to tech gadgets.
I was looking for something that sparkles, so I made my way to Pandora, Cherryvale Mall's newest store.
"The Pandora bracelet allows you to pick out your moments," says Nicole Poffinbarger, Pandora's manager. "Whether it's trips you went on, special events that you attended with your children, your grandchildren, anything at all. We've got a charm that fits that moment. You place it on your bracelet, and you give it to the person that you love, and you've created a moment, a memory that they can carry with them."
Pandora is known for their charm bracelets that you can add on to anytime, at birthdays... Holidays... Or special moments you want to remember. If you're not into bracelets, though, there are plenty of other pretty pieces to choose from.
If you're looking for a gift that might only last minutes, instead of a lifetime, a sweet or salty gift may be your best bet. You can head to Sees Candies and take a taste of the hundreds of candies, toffees, and even peanut brittle. I definitely took them up on their offer to taste test.
Peanut Brittle is their most popular gift. They even have a box called the parking lot, which get's the name from people who literally get through the whole box before leaving the parking lot. From boxes of lollipops, to gifts for Hanukah as well. You can find anything, for an affordable price.
After I finished my peppermint patty and peanut brittle and lollipop, I had to head to the store a lot of people think about on Black Friday, the Best Buy Mobile store in the mall!
If you're looking for that cell phone, that iPad, that tablet, you're in the right place. I was told gifts at the top this year are the Kindle Fire HD, the iPad Mini, and a new cell phone, just released earlier this month.
If you're not into digital reading, maybe you're in the market for a new phone. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is brand new in the store.
Scott latsaras (best buy general manager)
"They made it big, but just big enough where you can still conveniently put it in your pocket," says Scott Latsaras, Best Buy Mobile's general manager. "Front pocket, back pocket, easy to find in your purse, but not too big where you do not wanna bring it with you."
You can't mention technology without Apple products. The iPad Mini will be a hot button item for anybody's holiday.
So if you're like me and haven't started your shopping yet, not to worry. There are plenty of ideas anywhere you look. And if all else fails, a lump of coal is still always an option.
