Salvation Army needs your help this holiday season

Posted: Updated:

The Salvation Army in Winnebago County is looking for people to step up and help others this holiday season.

They're looking for bell ringers to pick up shifts as part of the Red Kettle Campaign. As of Monday, the campaign has raised more than $20,000, but is slightly off its pace from last year at this time. That's also only 10% of the $200,000 campaign goal for the year.

The Salvation Army is also looking for people to donate gifts to its Giving Tree at CherryVale Mall. The donations are being accepted on the upper level near Bergners between now and December 23.
