TRAFFIC ALERT: N. Alpine Road closure - WREX.com – Rockford’s News Leader

Power wires are down after a crash on North Alpine Road in Rockford Tuesday morning.
Both the northbound and southbound lanes of Alpine between High Point Drive and Pepper Drive are closed as the accident is investigated and cleaned up.
Traffic is being detoured around the area. Drivers are urged to find another route if possible.
Police estimate the area to be shutdown until at least early this afternoon.
