Second City stops in Rockford

Seasonal satire draws laughs from a crowd out for a good cause.

Spectrum Progressive School entertained a room full of people with some major help from Chicago.  Actors from "Second City" performed their "Dysfunctional Holiday Review" at a fundraiser for the school.  Spectrum uses non-traditional learning, focusing on students' strengths.

Anne Boccignone, a parent volunteer, was also at the fundraiser supporting the school.

"It's a great way to kick off the holidays and its supporting making educational opportunities in our community more varied and richer and more accessible for more people"

This was the third annual event for the school.
