Luncheon helps employers learn new health care reform requirements


As many people re-enroll for employer-sponsored health care plans, businesses face challenges meeting new requirements set by health care reform.

To help businesses comply with the changes, The Rockford Chamber of Commerce hosts its annual  Health Care Industry Update Luncheon at Giovanni's on Bell School Road, beginning at 11:30 today.

The luncheon will cover the fundamentals and compliance issues of the health care reform.

Thaddeus "Ted" J. Nodzenski, Vice President of strategic and business development for the Illinois Hospital Association will be the keynote speaker.

Nodzenski will discuss health care issues such employers' responsibilities to comply with the health care reform. He will also share trends that drive the health care environment and discuss their implications to business leaders.
