Over 25 people graduated with a clean slate on Wednesday.
The Winnebago County Drug Court celebrated its 30th graduation ceremony. Drug court programs focus on helping non-violent offenders through recovery from drugs and alcohol. Return trips to jail are usually reduced for those that participate.
"I thank Drug Court for letting me be on Drug Court, because it's a gift to be on Drug Court, to start your life all over again, and that's where I'm at right now, starting my life all over again, clean this time around," graduate Dwight Hall said.
Rosecrance, Remedies, and Treatment Alternatives for Safe Communities are all involved with the program.
