U.S. Navy Blue Angels make stop at RFD - WREX.com – Rockford’s News Leader

The headliners of next year's AirFest made a preseason stop at the Chicago Rockford International Airport on Tuesday.
Two members of the U.S. Navy's Blue Angels team flew into the airport Tuesday afternoon to make sure everything is ready for their AirFest performance next summer. Lieutenant Ryan Chamberlain is looking forward to the event.
"It's an incredible privilege and we take it very seriously," he said.
Rockford AirFest 2013 will be held on June 1 and June 2. Tickets will go on sale in December.
