The former Dixon comptroller accused of stealing over $53 million from the city is expected to change her plea.

Rita Crundwell initially pleaded not guilty to one count of federal wire fraud earlier this year. However, she is expected to change that plea to guilty during a scheduled status hearing on Wednesday, November 14.

Crundwell also faces 60 charges of theft in Lee County for the same accusations. She also pleaded not guilty in that case.
