Granite City holds fundraiser; gives Hope for Haitians

A fundraiser at Granite City gives hope to the country of Haiti.

All day 10 percent of all brunch proceeds benefit Hope for Haitians.  The group was founded in 2001 in Rockford.  Folks from here had visited Haiti.

They now work to improve the quality of life down there.

Since it started, the group has built four villages, provided clean water sources for more than 270 thousand people and set up education programs.
