RACVB hold roundtable discussions this week

The community voices opinions on what they think should be next to promote tourism.  The Rockford Area Convention & Visitors Bureau wants to hear what people think at three roundtable discussions this week.  Many voiced ideas for bumping up eco-tourism, like places to bike or canoe while others are concerned about abandoned buildings and closed businesses.

John Groh, President/CEO of the RACVB, appreciates the ideas that came out of today's session. "We heard a lot about the way we look and the way we're presenting ourselves, both for the benefit of our citizens and our visitors coming in."  There are additional sessions Thursday, October 18th at 6 p.m. at the Courtyard by Marriott on E. State St. and Friday, October 19th at 11 a.m. at the Ethnic Heritage Museum.
