Man with knife robs Rockford gas station - WREX.com – Rockford’s News Leader

A man armed with a knife threatened the clerk of a Rockford gas station and got away with money.
Police say the suspect went into the Murphy Oil at 3962 W. Riverside Blvd. around 11:00 p.m. Thursday and demanded money from the clerk. The clerk was not injured during the robbery.
The suspect got away in a green Pontiac Grand Am. He's described as white, 6'00'', 200 pounds.
