The Rockford Area Aerospace Network will make its third appearance at the National Business Aviation Association's Annual Meeting & Convention later this month.
The event is the largest trade show in the United States that is focused on business aerospace and aviation. The show will take place in Orlando, Florida, from October 29 to November 1.
"This event is a major component of the network's business development strategy," Eric Voyles, vice president for national business development at the Rockford Area Economic Development Council (RAEDC) said. "In some respects, this is the U.S. equivalent of the Farnborough and Paris Air Shows where we also exhibit, in partnership with the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Development."
Regional companies joined RAAN at the exhibition, including Ardekin Precision, Chem Processing, Inc., Energy Dynamics, Inc., and Ingenium Technologies.
RAAN was formed by RAEDC in 2010 to increase business opportunities for aerospace suppliers as well as gain more high-paying aerospace jobs in the region.
