Area students got a chance to speak with representatives from Christian colleges on Wednesday during Rockford Christian's Christian College Fair.
Admission was free and prospective students also attended a financial aid workshop. The fair featured schools from all over the country, including Trinity International University, Colorado Christian University, and Olivet Nazarene University.
"We're not necessarily kicking them out of Rockford, but we are wanting kids to realize that whatever they want to study, there's an opportunity for them, and it's a big world and to be able to expand their horizons and see what are the opportunities they have," Rockford Christian Schools Principal Drew Popejoy said.
Forty schools were represented.
