Rockford police working death investigation - WREX.com – Rockford’s News Leader

Rockford Police are investigating the death of a woman overnight in the 2300 block of Belden.
Rockford Police responded to a medical assist call in that area around 5:00 a.m. There, they found a 27-year-old woman dead. Police are currently conducting a follow-up investigation into her death.
The Winnebago County Coroner's Office will conduct an autopsy tomorrow, October 11. Initial investigation shows there is trauma to the woman's body.
