Man, woman beaten during home invasion in Rockford - WREX.com – Rockford’s News Leader

Three men force their way into a Rockford home and beat two people inside.
The incident happened just after midnight at a home in the 3900 block of Sage Drive in Rockford. Police say the armed suspects forced their way into the home through the front door and attacked a 29-year-old man and 26-year-old woman. Both victims were treated at an area hospital for minor injuries.
The three men ran from the home after searching through some rooms. It's not known what they took. They were all wearing dark clothes with black bandanas covering their faces.
