Wisconsin man wins 4 years of free flights from Allegiant

A Monticello, Wisconsin man will be a frequent visitor to the Chicago Rockford International Airport over the next four years.

Roger Babler won four years of free flights from Allegiant after entering a contest on the company's Facebook page. Babler will get one round trip per month with a traveling companion. Allegiants features flights from Rockford to Las Vegas, Phoenix/Mesa, Orlando/Sanford, and Tampa/St. Petersburg.

"We couldn't be happier that a Rockford area resident won the grand prize and will be taking vacations from Chicago Rockford International Airport, RFD Marketing Manager Geoff Oman said. "That's what makes Chicago Rockford International Airport so special—it's a low-cost carrier like Allegiant that goes to great destinations that continues to attract passengers from not only Rockford, but an expanding regional base that finds our airport a little easier and more pleasurable for their travel needs."

Babler and his wife Karen received the prize during a celebration at RFD Tuesday morning.
