Avoid getting stuck with a broken furnace on a cold night by giving it a test run now.
We asked Gilley's Heating and Air Conditioning for some tips before cooler temperatures start rolling in. To start, clean your filter and check drain hoses for any possible leaks. If you have a high efficiency furnace, make sure your chimney pipes outside are clear. And remember, the first time you turn on the furnace, there is usually a burning smell from collected dust.
Most importantly, if you are not 100% sure about a potential problem, have someone check it out.
