Elk Grove Village man faces terrorism charges in Oklahoma

An Illinois man is being held without bond in Oklahoma on the charge of threatening to use an explosive or incendiary device.

Gregory Arthur Weiler II, 23, was arrested at a motel on Thursday. Bomb-making materials, torn bits of paper, and directions to make Molotov cocktails were found at the time of his arrest. Police say the torn bits of paper were formed together to make a list of 48 local churches, including a hand-drawn map of the churches and a written outline of a plan to plant bombs in them.

Weiler was charged Friday in Ottawa County.
