Rockford teen robbed at red light

A 19-year-old Rockford woman was robbed while in her car at a red light.

The victim was stopped at the light at 1st Street and East State Streets around 1:45 a.m. Monday morning. Two suspects approached her car from the passenger side and one of them pointed a gun at her while the suspects opened the passenger door of her car and took items from her front seat.

The two suspects then fled northbound. The victim was not injured. The two suspects are described as black males, between 20 and 25 years old. One was wearing gray sweat pants and the other was wearing black sweat pants.
