DEVELOPING: Two Rockford shooting incidents in last 24 hours - WREX.com – Rockford’s News Leader

The first shooting happened just after 11 Saturday night in the 1500 block of 14th Street.
Rockford Police say a shooting victim walked into a local hospital with a gunshot wound to the neck.
Investigators are still working on that case.
The second happened around noon Sunday when shots were fired in the 1000 block of Hess Court in the Fairgrounds neighborhood.
At this time, police say there are no injuries but they do have two people in custody after recovering a gun.
