Pet-A-Palooza held at Lou Bachrodt

Pet-A-Palooza get's tails wagging and tongues hanging out at Lou Bachrodt.

October means pet adoption month for animal lovers all over.  Lou Bachrodt and First Northern Credit Union work with local rescue groups and organizations to bring families and friends together through the adoption of loving companions.

The event is free, open to the public and features many vendors, including adoption and training centers as well as lodging services and nutrition programs.

"It's a wonderful feeling.  There were tears shed over here when a cocker spaniel got adopted.  It's just nice to know that they're getting a second chance and there's a lot of great people willing to give these pets a second chance," said Jeannine French, coordinator.
