A Roscoe woman earned $26,000 in three days by just scratching off lottery tickets.

Kim Kemmet won $25,000 on a Crossword instant ticket and three days later, won $1,000 more on another ticket. Kemmet, who works in sales at a furniture store, says she buys one or two tickets a week because she enjoys the game.

The married mother of three plans on spending her winnings on bills, new tires for her husband's car, and new living room carpeting. She offered the following advice to other lottery players, "Play responsibly. If you're feeling lucky, play a couple of tickets...because you just never know!"

The $25,000 ticket was purchased at the Mobil at 111 Blackhawk Boulevard in Rockton and the $1,000 ticket was purchased at the Road Ranger at 11607 Main Street in Roscoe.
