Rockford man gets 7 years for cocaine charge


A 35-year-old Rockford man pled guilty to possession with the intent to deliver cocaine and was sentenced to seven years in prison.

Dwayne D. Glass was arrested after Winnebago County Sheriff's Police found about an ounce and a half of cocaine, a digital scale, and $3,146 in cash during a December 28, 2007 search of his home.

Possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, 15 to 100 grams of cocaine is a class x felony with a sentencing range of six to 30 years in jail.
